In the early fourth age they were wed, and got four children, Edrahil, Damrod, Maiwen and Nessane.

ERENDUR: Erendur “Ehtyar”, or spearman. His mother was Findis, eldest daughter of Finwe. This made Erendur a royal prince, something he always remembered and wished others to remember too. Erendur was married to lady Alkariel of a very noble house of noldor, but his wife did not follow him to the exile. Erendur followed Fingolfin to Beleriand. There Erendur took part to all the major battles fought by the armies of Hithlum. He made it out of Nirnaeth in one piece, though not due lack of courage. After the battle he took what few of his retainers has survived and made it to the Falas and then with Cirdan and Gil-Galad to the havens of Sirion. He went with Gil-Galad to the war of Wrath, and afterwards helped to found the realm of Lindon. One would have thought that a royal prince of Erendur`s status would have gained an important position in the realm, but so was not meant. For he was always eagar to promote his self-interest and was somewhat proud and extremely vain. Because of this it was easy for him to make enemies. He was one of the lords taken aback by the election of Narces. He supported Melandur for the position of stewarship, but became somewhat bitter after Glorfindel was nominated to be lord of Lindon. He was further enbittered when Gil-Galad showed such a great favor to Gildor Inglorion. In the end Erendur was nominated as the lord of Harlond, where hethen moved with what little retainers of his had survived. Some of the surviving knights of Fingon also followed him. Erendur took active part to the politics of the realm, forming a close alliance with lord Melandur and prince Galendil. He was also a good friend with lord Celeborn and traveled often to Eregion. Erendur was extremely hostile to the house of Feänor, and of this hostility prince Dahas got his share. This often lead Erendur to a conflict with Narces, who he thought was an annoying upstart to begin with, and also sometimes with Glorfindel. When the Last Alliance was formed even Erendur supported it against Melandur. He was the second-in-command of the forces of Lindon, and fought in every major battle of the war. After the war he became disinterested of politics and mostly withdrew to his own city of Harlond.

ERESTOR: A noldo. Erestor was one of the highest lords of the Gwaith-I-Mirdain. He was very proud of his good family and high position. Erestor delivered one of the seven dwarven rings to the dwarves, accompanied by Ecthelwion who first escorted Erestor and then made his own trip. This saved Erestor`s life since Eregion was in the meanwhile destroyed by Sauron. Erestor then with the few surviving mirdain joined Elrond in Imladris and became the chief councellor of Elrond. Despite his proudness and vanity Erestor was a wise elf who was loyal to his friends and worth a trust. He also was a valiant leader in battle, which he proved in the war of The Last Alliance when he was the second-in-command of the forces of Rivendell. He was always destined to remain in the shadow of the well-meaning Ecthelwion who liked him.

FAELIN: The only son of Maldar of Eglarest. Faelin was close to Glorfindel and Ecthelwion. He was born in Tol Balar and afterwards lived in Mithlond with his father. He was a good engineer and an organizer. He had an instrumental part in the building of Mithlond. Falasdil became a member of the council of Lindon. He was suspicious of the humans, especially of Numenore and later of the dunedain. This made him support the policies of lord Melandur, though no close alliance was forged because Melandur and his friends could not hide their disapproval of the “common” falathrim lord. Similarly Falasdil never approved Glorfindel, who he couldn`t understand. Falasdil crossed to Tol Eresseä after the Last Alliance, and still lives there.

He was born in Hithlum and send to Falas with Gil-Galad. Galendil fought valiantly with Gil-Galad`s retainers agains the sons of Feanor in Sirion, and then took part to the War of Wrath. After this Galendil followed Gil-Galad to Mithlond where he built his big manor and found his own great house. Galendil soon became an important person, as his connections were great. He was a member of the council, where he formed a powerfull alliance with Melandur and Erendur. Of the three, alas, it was Galendil who was the weak link. He was a good speaker and intriguer, but when action was needed he was not of much use. Galendil was always carefull to protect his rights and honor, but it was usually he himself who put it at risk. Without any emergencies he could have become the most powerfull noble in the realm, since he had the ambition for it. However the war against Sauron ruined his cause, as he didn`t manage to do anything and his total lack of leadership became obvious. This didn`t mean that Galendil wouldn`t try his hand again, and he managed to become an important figure, but the war of The Last Alliance ruined his cause again, as the alliance of the three high born noldo`s dissolved and their support vanished. Melandur was left to sulk in Lindon and Galendil and Erendur accepted secondry commissions, as they though, in the war. Galendil did some fighting in the war, but did not gain any great valor to his name. After the war he did his best to meddle to the politics of Lindon, for a time being gaining the upper hand with Melandur. The threat of Angmar however brought an end to his politics of non-alliance and he went overseas.

GALMIR: A falthrim elf. Fought with Cirdan`s force in Nirnaeth. Was besieged with Fingon and joined the sortie of Melandur. Galmir made it to safety and joined the brotherhood of Celebrimbor. He took part to the expedition to the mountains of Moon, and to the Gondor scout. He followed Ecthelwion to the war of The Last Alliance and fought well in Dagorlad and Morannon. In the war of Wrath young Gellan proved his worth and was quickly annexed by prince Galendil, who made him the underlord of his new house in Lindon. Gellan received the important fishing-village of Greenhaven on the eastern shore of the Lhun bay as his fiefdom. It was Gellan who defended Sarn Athrad in the war against Sauron, in the name of his lord Galendil, and did it well until Glorfindel came to his aid. Gellan also fought in Tharbad and made quite a name for himself. He was the underlord of the forces of Lindon in the Last Alliance. After the war he stopped supporting Galendil, who he thought was a failure. After that Gellan steadily rose in power and influence, resisting the plans of Melandur and Galendil. When Angmar threatened it was Gellan who got the support of Salmarindil and made the elves drop their isolation and help the dunedain kingdoms of Eriador. Gellan was one of the commanders in the battle of Annuminas. He still lives in Mithlond and is among the most influential members of the council of Mithlond.

He then moved to Mithlond with his mother, since his father was killed in the war of Wrath while fighting under Gil-Galad. Great favor was shown to Gildor by Gil-Galad. In a young age he was made lord of Mithlond and became member of the council of Lindon. He tried his best to stay away from the powerpolitics. Gildor fought against Sauron under Gil-Galad and then had a great part in the war of the Last Alliance, where he commanded the division of Lindon with great skill. This took all the wish for glory away from Glorfuin, who preferred peace and harmony. He became an expert gardener and a great singer and player. He remained in Middle-Earth after Glorfindel crossed the sea, and lives still in Imladris.

GUILIN:  He is one of the few leaders of the rebellion of the noldor still alive. As a young elf Guilin took active part to the political struggle in Tirion supporting Finrod, son of Finarfin. He was one of the lords of noldor. He followed Finrod to Beleriand and was one of the chieftains of Nargothrond and the leader of it`s armies in battle of Dagor Bragollach. Guilin was somewhat pushed aside by the more energetic Gwindor and then by Turin, but in Tumhalad he was the leader of the left wing of the army and managed to get big part of his men out of the battle after it was lost. He evacuated as many of the people as he could, who he had send to a safe place thinking the battle would be lost. Guilin lead the survivors of Nargothrond in havens of Sirion, being one of the chieftains of the havens. He took part to the war of Wrath, and then was among the founders of Lindon. Despite all this he was somewhat overshadowed by Narces son of Felduin. After the war Guilin mostly withdraw from politics disgusted with the little recognition he had received, and increasingly isolated in the powerpolitics. He however helped Glorfindel to found the knighthood of the Golden Flower. In the political struggle that followed the death of Gil-Galad Guilin found that his position had depended of the highking, and he had only little support for his own ideas and politics. Most of the third age he spend in what could be called almost voluntarily exile in Forlond. He had no close allies or friends, but not any enemies either.

For instance prince Charion was inclined to support them. Rumil and Gyonfal declined to join the rebellion of noldor. In the war of Wrath it was prince Gyonfal who lead the forces of noldor. He was the heir to the throne of Finarfin and still lives in Tirion.

ITHILBOR: A sinda from Doriath. He was a spirited warrior and went to the battle of Nirnaeth with the forces of Cirdan. He made it out alive with the small group of elves who then founded the brotherhood of Celebrimbor. Ithilbor was a close friend with Ecthelwion. He was a good archer and followed Ecthelwion to all his trips, including mountains of Moon and the scout to Gondor. In the war of The Last Alliance he fought under Ecthelwion and survived all the battles. He lived in Imladris and only after his friend Tilion died did Ithilbor cross the sea to Tol Eressea. He helped to train the knights of the Golden Flower and fought in the last battle against Angmar.

ITHILWEN: A noldo. Young girl who Glorfindel saved in Helcaraxe and then adopted. She was the maiden of Nan Lasgalen. She well in love with smith Enerdhil in Gondolin and made it out of the destruction alive. She refused to marry Enerdhil before her father could marry them, and this happened in the early fourth age. Ithilwen had four children, Edrahil, Damrod, Maiwen and Nessane. She was the lady of the manor of the Fountain and a member of the council of Tol Eressea.

LEGOLAS: A greyelf of Nevrast. He was the underlord of the house of the Tree. Fought in Nirnaeth and made it out with a small group of elves who then founded brotherhood of Celebrimbor. Legolas returned to Gondolin and fought well in the final battle there. He made it out of the city and followed his lord Galdor to havens of Sirion and then to Tol Eressea.

LINDIR: A noldo. One of the Gwaith-I-Mirdain. Lindir joined the expedition to mountains of Moon. One of the few smiths still alive. He went to live with Erestor to Imladris.

MAEGLOS: The eldest grandson of Maglor, who came to Rivendell in the early fourth age to seek for his relatives. He was killed in the battle of the Fields of Rhovanion.

MAHTAN: One of the lords of Noldor. In the power struggle of the noldor one factions was formed around Mahtan, who lead the noldor who refused in the first place to join the rebellion. He was a famous smith. His oldest daughter marries Curufinwe and two younger daughters married Charion and Darion. Mahtan liked his grandsons and took great part in raising them. After Charion went to exile Mahtan took care of young Glorfindel, practically raising him with the help of his eldest daughter Nerdanel. Glorfindel lived for many years in the house of Mahtan and also in the house of Curufinwe. Mahtan didn`t approve his grandsons joining Curufinwe in the rebellion, but gave them his blessings. He gave Ecthelion and Glorfindel their great swords and two mighty elven stones which they always carried.

MAIWEN: A daughter of Ithilwen and Enerdhil. Born in the early fourth age in manor of Fountain in Tol Eressea.

MALDAR: Maldar of Eglarest. An elf of falathrim. He lived in Eglarest and was a friend of Ecthelion. Maldar`s sister married Ecthelion. Maldar himself had one son, Faelin, who was a cousin of Ecthelwion and Ithilwen. When orcs attacked Eglarest Maldar made it to the safety with his family. He then lived with Cirdan in Tol Balar. Maldar took part to the war of Wrath, though he was not a warrior of considerable skills. Maldar then moved to Mithlond when it was being built. He was one of the noble lords of falathrim, but did not reach much political prominence since his loyalty was not to Cirdan`s family but to his own. He at first helped Ecthelwion with his best ability, being instrumental in making the alliance to ensure Narces`s election as the underlord. This made Maldar some important enemies, including Melandur and lord Falasdil, eldest son of Cirdan. Maldar then supported Glorfindel in the politics, but didn`t take active part in military campaigns. In the third age he again gained more prominence when his political enemies had departed over the sea and gave important assistance to Glorfindel and Gunwe in Mithlond. After Glorfindel moved to Rivendell Maldar dwelled in the big manor of the house of Dilwe.

MELANDUR: A noldo lord. He was born in Tirion to one of the noble families. Melandur eagerly joined the rebellion supporting prince Fingon. In Beleriand he became one of the knights of Fingon, doing valuable service and becoming captain of the household company of Fingon. After being ordered by Fingon to try to escape from Nirnaeth he lead the famous sortie and made it to safety with a few others. He then made it to havens of Sirion where he joined Ereinion Gil-Galad, becaming one of the most important councellors of the king. Melandur fought well in war of Wrath and then eagerly stayed in Middle-Earth, believing the time for elves to live happily in there, on their own, had arrived. In this belief he was joined by Ereinion and many others. When Lindon was founded Melandur turned into a clever and resourcefull politician. His main policy was to keep elves and humans separated, since he believed that Numenor and other humans in the future could threat the peacefull prosperity that elves were about to found in Eriador. Later this turned almost into hostility towards the dunedain. Melandur soon became an important person since Gil-galad chose him for to be the steward of Lindon. He was the right person for the job, since Melandur had considerable administrative abilities. Unfortunately he also couldn`t stand any competition and was always jealous of noble rights and integrity of the realm. This automaticly put him on the collision course with Narces, who Melandur took to be an ambitious upstart out of his league, and in general to be bad for the realm. He was also against the policies of Glorfindel, who was a great friend of humans. So the lines in the council of Lindon were drawn, Melandur and his allied against Glorfindel and his “upstart” protégé Narces. Melandur opposed Glorfindel and others in forming the Last Alliance, but lost all his support and in disgust remained behind to rule Lindon in absence of Gil-Galad. After the war the political struggle intensified, and Melandur at first was succesfull in introducing his own policies, but after Angmar became a threat he lost his majority in the council of Lindon and in anger went over the sea to Tol Eressea.

NARCES: A noldor born in Nevrast. His father Felduin was killed in Dagor Aglareb while Narces was still young. He was a friend of Ecthelwion and spend his childhood in Nan Lasgalen. Narces was a young officer in Nirnaeth, where he did well and was promoted into a leader of one of the companies of the house of The Fountain. In the destruction of Gondolin he was incharge of the evacuation ordered by Ecthelion, and managed it suberby. He made it out alive and to the havens of Sirion where he was an important organiser of the building of the elven settlements. In the war of Wrath he was underlord of the small force that houses of the Fountain and Golden Flower marched to the battle. Narces did well and was noticed by many important persons. He remained in Middle-Earth and was helping to found the realm of Lindon. One of the first political struggles there was the question who would become the underlord of the realm. Highborn noldo lords thought it would be one of them, though they couldn`t agree which of them would take the burdensome job which promised a lot to do but little reward. They were then surpised by lord Ecthelwion, who for the first and almost last time took part to the politics, easily formed an alliance in the council between the non-noldor lords and himself and got Narces elected as the underlord. This made most of the high noldo lords in the council hostile to Narces, who however turned out to be an excellent underlord, and was firmly supported by Gil-Galad and later supported and defended strongly by lord Glorfindel. Narces did well in the crisis when elves fought Sauron, and learned a lot from generalship of Guilin and Glorfindel. This he put into a good use when he was nominated the underlord of the army of Eriador during the war of The Last Alliance. Narces did a huge job in organizing and leading the army, making it work. He also had a big role in planning the overall strategy and virtual command during the battles, together with Guilin with whom he worked well together. After the war Narces however got more praise even from his political enemies, which embittered Guilin and made his relations to Narces and Glorfindel cold. Narces went overseas to Tol Eressea early in the third age. He had no wife or children, saying that house of Dilwe was his family

NESSANE: The youngest child of Ithilwen and Enerdhil. She was born in the early fourth age in the manor of The Fountain. She was a very good friend with his relative Singolle, with whom she was the same age. She learned to use weapons with Singollo, and liked to wander in the forests with him and Gileas. Nessane became quite a good archer and wished to do great things, which later lead her into trouble.

SALMARINDIL NOLDORIN: The grandson of lord Valwe and son of Valwerion. Salmarindil`s family was probably the most influential noble family of the noldor, if royal houses are excluded. Unfortunately Salmarindil was very much aware of this. His father and grandfather had come to Beleriand with maia Salmar to help save enprisoner elves from Morgoth, in which they were partially succefull. Valwe then returned with Salmar but Valwerion stayed in the havens of Sirion and married a a cousin of Ereinion Gil-Galad from his mother`s side. Their son Salmarindil was soon born, and also one daughter. The family then moved to Mithlond but Valwerion and his wife soon departed over the sea, leaving their two children to be taken care of by their relatives. Salmarindil was raised personally by prince Galendil. With his powerfull backers and a great name he became immediately an important person in the politics, setting off to get from the world “what was rightfully his”. Salmarindil was a proud noble who was not ready to bow to anyone besides Ereinion. He felt the other elven races to be beneath the noldor, who had seen the light of the trees. It was easy for Salmarindil to make friends with his famous name and great wit, but as easily he made enemies with his uncompromising nature and proudness. Salmarindil soon become a member of the council of Lindon, where he often supported his friend and relative Galendil, but not always. Slowly the importance of Salmarindil rose. He fought in the war of The Last Alliance but lead no troops there. Salmarindil was at first against the marriage of Ecthelwion and his sister, since Ecthelwion didn`t behave according to his rank. But person with such a position and allies was worth having around, so eventually Salmarindil agreed. In the third age he was probably the most important noldo lord in Mithlond, after Melandur and Galendil had departed. He had two sons, Dunlan and Wedemir, of which Dunlan followed Glorfindel but Wedemir followed the path of his father, though he was a totally different person. Salmarindil married a daughter of a minor noldo noble Bronwe, who had been a loyal ally and supported of Salmarindil`s father.

SINGOLLO: The youngest son of Glorfalc and Elfin. He was adopted by Glorfindel after his parents had died. Went with Glorfindel to Tol Eressea in the early fourth age, while still a small child. Singollo loves forests, old stories and books. He started to write the history of his family. People said he was a lot like Ecthelwion.

TILION: A noldo. Tilion was born in Tirion and as young child went into exile. His family joined Fingon, and Tilion then became a knight in the household company of Fingon. He took part to Nirnaeth, and was ordered by Melandur to save himself, which he did by joining the sortie. He was one of the brotherhood of Celebrimbor. Tilion was a good friend with Ecthelwion and Galmir, and joined them in all the adventures. He went to the mountains of Moon with the others, and then lived in Imladris with his friends. Tilion fought well under Ecthelwion in war of The Last Alliance. He carried wounded Ecthelwion out from the battle in Dagorlad saving his life. Tilion trained the knights of the Golden Flower to fight with swords. He was one of the most eminent swordmen in Eriador. Tilion survived the battle where Ecthelwion was killed, but was killed during the final assault of Angmar, while saving the life of Glorfuin, who was like a son to him.

TÄLWE: Tälwe “the dark”. A sinda from Harlindon. He was born in late second age, and as a young elf joined the forced of Harlindon in war of The Last Alliance. He was the squire of king Galadhil. Tälwe fought well in the war and became quite famous with his daring exploits. He was famous for his abilities with sword and spear, but it was with a lance and horse that he excelled all the others. Later he was known as “lord of the lance”. He immediately joined the knighthood of the Golden Flower, recommended by lord Cirdan himself. In the 2000s he was the second ranking chieftain of the order, just behind Delemir. (More about Tälwe, see “Knights of The Golden Flower”)

VALWE: A leader of the greatest noble houses of the Noldor, excluding royal houses. Valwe was a wise politician who had a noble and fair mind. In the powerstruggles of Tirion he hold his own cauncels but gave his support to Fingolfin. He rebelled with his powerfull ally against the valar, but regretted after Alqualonde, and returned to Tirion with Finarfin. With him returned his house and followers, full 1000 it is said. Valwe was a powerfull lord who soon formed a close friendship and alliance with maia Salmar, and through him with Ulmo himself. Valwe`s house carried the banners of Ulmo nobly. Valwe had two sons, Valwerion and Lindo. With his eldest son and best retainers he joined maia Salmar in his secret quest to help the noldor enprisoned by Morgoth, and they managed to enter Beleriand and free some prisoners. Valwe then returned to Tirion with Salmar. There he later gathered his forces and joined prince Gyonfal and the valarin army in war of Wrath. With him to Beleriand went his younger son Lindo and Lindo`s father-in-law, the famous hero Tulkastor, who was probably most powerfull of all Noldor. The house fought valiantly against Morgoth and had their share of the victory. Valiant Tulkastor killed a balrog but died himself too. This brought great fame to the house. After the war Valwe returned to Tirion but his son Lindo went to Tol Eressea where he became one of the most important lords of the island. Valwe still lives in Tirion and is the most powerfull noble in the town after the king and prince Gyonfal.

VEÄNNE: Half-elf. Daughter of Glorfindel and Alessa. She was born in Rhudaur in the mid 2000s. Veänne always loved stories of Tol Eresseä and Valinor, and of her beautifull sister and lady of the manor, Ithilwen. After her mother died she went over the sea to Tol Eresseä to live in the manor of the Fountain.

WEDEMIR: Wedemir Noldorin. He was the younger son of Salmarindil Noldorin and brother of Dunlan. He too was drawn between his two families, and at first joined the knighthood of the Golden Flower, to his fathers anger and his brothers fear. Wedemir however did not love the wilderness and soon saw he had made the wrong choice, and returned to Mithlond and to his fathers love. Wedemir was a good speaker and skillfull speaker, but he had also inherited his fathers bright mind and his brothers sense of justice. This made Wedemir a really good character in the councils of Mithlond. He was the rising star among the elves, with a bright promising future.

VOLONDIL:  A noble lord of noldor. He was lord Volondil of Dinlade, which was a nice village situated near the foothills of Emyn Beraid. Volondil was one of the lords of Lindon, and a member of the council of Lindon. He was at first an ally of Melandur and Galendil, being related to Melandur. During the war against Sauron Volondil however did not support Melandur, of which the steward became bitter and the friendship ended. He then chose his own councels, sometimes supporting Melandur but usually Glorfindel and others. He was a close friend with Gil-Galad and fought with him in the Last Alliance. Volondil was killed in the battle of Gorgoroth, while fighting one of the nazguls. He had one son, Haldurion, who became a chieftain in the knighthood of the Golden Flower.
