Auchinclass: Commissary Sergeant. 7th Cavalry co.”L”. Died of disease, april 6th 1867, Fort Morgan, Colorado.

 

Cooper, W: Major. 7th Cavalry. Committed suicide on 8th of june 1867.

 

Dummell: Sergeant, 7th Cavalry co.”G”. Killed in a fight with Cheyennes outside Fort Wallace, 20th june 1867.

 

Wyllyams, Frederick: Sergeant. 7th Cavalry co.”G”. Killed in action 26th june 1867 near Fort Wallace with 5 other men of the 7th Cavalry. Wyllyams was a graduate of Eton in Britain.

 

Kidder, Lyman: 2nd Lieutenant. 2nd Cavalry. Killed by Indians together with 10 soldiers in early july 1867,

 

Helm, J.A.: 1st Lieutenant. 3rd Infantry co.”B”. Died at Fort Zarah while on d.s., july 24th 1867, of cholera (there was a devastating epidemic at this time).
